How It Works

Three Steps to Staying Alive on the Water

01

Wear It

Put on NaviCap like any other cap. No setup, no clipping devices to your vest, no fumbling in the dark. It's on your head — where it belongs.

02

Power On

Single button press activates USCG-compliant red/green navigation lights. GPS tracking starts automatically. Your crew and emergency contacts can see your location in real time.

03

Stay Visible

300+ meter LED visibility in rain and darkness. If something goes wrong, one press of the SOS button sends your GPS coordinates to the Coast Guard and your designated contacts.

Visibility Coverage

USCG-Compliant Navigation Light Sectors

NaviCap's integrated LED system meets U.S. Coast Guard navigation light standards — the same sectors used by commercial vessels. Port (red) and starboard (green) lights cover 112.5° each, with a white all-round light visible at 2+ nautical miles.

  • Port (red) — 112.5° sector, 1+ nautical mile
  • Starboard (green) — 112.5° sector, 1+ nautical mile
  • All-round white — 225° total, 2+ nautical miles

Who It's For

Anyone Who Gets on the Water

Recreational Boaters

Weekend warriors, sunset cruisers, and day-trippers who want peace of mind without the bulk of traditional safety gear.

Anglers & Fishermen

Early morning and late-night fishing trips where low visibility is the norm, not the exception. NaviCap keeps you seen without getting in the way.

Kayakers & Paddleboarders

Human-powered watercraft are nearly invisible to motorized boats. NaviCap levels the playing field — and the risk.

Water Sports Enthusiasts

Wakeboarding, tubing, jet skiing — when you're in the water, not on it, visibility matters most. NaviCap stays on your head.
